Hi, I’m Patrick, a 38 years old Dutch part-time cyber security student currently living together with Emiel, a 24 years old French AI-engineer and we are looking for a third roommate to join our epic swag pad on the top floor. We like living together with expats so Dutch people need not apply.
We are looking for a male roommate that works a steady job as an expat/international and preferably is between 24 and 38 years old.

The apartment is a clean and relaxed space where you can unwind, so partying, alcohol and drugs can be enjoyed in the city but not at home.

I like working out at the gym around the corner, skating, gaming, watching movies and throwing LAN parties with friends to play games together. I'm also studying to become a hacker. It would be nice if you're into these things too, but it is not a requirement of course.

This is a large and luxurious apartment in Utrecht on the other side of the Hogeweidebrug. You are not only renting a room but can also use all the toys that the apartment has to offer and this is quite the bachelor pad.

These include two custom gaming PCs with 34 inch ultra wide screens, super fast gigabit Ethernet both wired and WIFI, a NAS with a large film collection of movies and series that you can stream on all devices in the house, a 200 inch projector screen and projector in the living room on which all games can be streamed from the PC and all movies from the NAS, Nintendo Switch and Xbox360, Nvidia Shield Pro, 65 inch 4k television, 3 electric skateboards that can reach 50 km per hour, a private patio on the top floor of the building with artificial grass and a hammock.

The apartment is located on the top floor and is excellently insulated. There is only 1 adjacent neighbour, so the sound from the soundbar can be loud without complaints from neighbours which makes for excellent movie nights.

There is a private parking space in the garage on the ground floor where a car can be parked and bicycles can be placed. The garage gate is electric. There is also a private storage room on the ground floor, but I prefer you don't bring to much stuff with you since the apartment already has everything you need. Furthermore, parking is free in the entire neighbourhood and there is always enough space.

The building also comes with a huge courtyard made of artificial grass, benches and lighting which looks beautiful at night and makes for a nice place to chill in the sun.

Public transport connections are excellent. There are two train stations about a 5 minute bike ride away which take you right into the heart of the city centre withing 10 minutes. Also, there are two shopping centres a 5 minute bike ride away with all the big grocery stores, restaurants and more.

The room is very spacious, about 20m2 and comes with high quality dark brown laminated floors and curtains. The walls are painted white. The room comes with a closet and you can make use of the sleeper couch until you purchase a bed. The room can be furnished as you please.

The initial stay will be for 6 months with a 2-month probationary period, after that time we can see if we extend. The room is available from the 1st of October. The deposit is 1 months rent which will be returned to you at the end of your lease.

So, you will be living with me and Emiel, but as you have read above, you get much more than just a room.

It is important to us that you write a detailed description about yourself and add a profile picture. We will invite you to check out the apartment and if we vibe, we will invite you to dinner in the city.

The price of the room is €1100 per month. This includes gas, electric, etc. Negotiation is not appreciated.
