Hi everyone,

We, the BerkelBoyz, are looking for a new roommate (male, 20+, no international students)!
Currently living at Huize Berkel (from left to right in the photo) are Daan (22), Diego, Mart (23), and Bram (26). Diego is moving out, so the room will be available starting July 1!
Some practical info: The room is about 18m2, with its own kitchen and balcony, and the rent is €460 per month, all-inclusive. That’s a real bargain!!!

Where will you be living? The house is located in the picturesque Rivierenbuurt neighborhood. It’s within walking distance of the train station, the Plus supermarket run by our good friends Bas and Eline, the city park, and there’s even an Action store nearby. It’s a bit of a bike ride to Zernike (15 minutes at full speed), but hey, that’s a small price to pay.
What’s it like to live at Huize Berkel? We’re all fairly far along in our studies or already working, so we’ve become a pretty traditional household. That doesn’t mean we aren’t open to a bit of youthful energy, but we think someone who’s also a bit further along in their studies, for example, would be a good fit for our little home. We don’t have any mandatory rules in our house, aside from the cleaning schedule. We do try to eat dinner together in the evenings, and every now and then we organize fun activities like a day trip or a game night. So it’s wonderfully relaxing and cozy here! The four of us share the washing machine, bathroom, and toilet. We even have a small rooftop terrace that gets disappointingly little sun, but is still nice in the summer! You’ll also find our barbecue and our little herb garden here.
If you’re thinking, “Wow, this sounds like a fun place to live!” then first of all, we totally agree with you, and second, feel free to send us a nice email at xxxxxxxxxx! Please introduce yourself briefly in the email and attach a nice photo of yourself so we can get a sense of who you are—and who knows, maybe we’ll see you at the open house! These will take place on Tuesday, June 23, and Wednesday, June 24.
