After months and months of searching for an apartment in Rotterdam, trying all possible ways - funda.nl, thisisourdomain, holland2stay, etc, and approaching rental agencies directly, I was finally successful after I registered with kamer.nl. As I have been searching for an apartment as a student, I got very often a negative response or no response at all. I feel that real estate agencies are more likely to reply after you approach them through kamer.nl. Honestly, the registration fee was the best invested 24 EUR. After two weeks after the registration I was invited to numerous viewings and I found my apartment. What I also appreciated was that kamer.nl clearly indicates if an apartment is suitable for students and under what conditions. I recommend kamer.nl for every apartment seeker, especially in the real estate market like Rotterdam. Five stars out of five, team kamer.nl."

How do we collect reviews?
- We ask tenants and landlords to leave a review after membership has ended or a house has been rented.
- We check that the review meets our guidelines: no swear words, no personal information and no spam.
- A review from a tenant will be posted only if the tenant has responded to a minimum of 10 properties. A review of a landlord will be posted only if the landlord has received a minimum of 10 responses.
- Reviews that deal with failure to respond or find a property will not be posted. We are not responsible for failure to respond to inquiries by landlords and/or real estate agents.
- We display all reviews, both positive and negative, as long as they meet the above guidelines.
- We do not pay for reviews. However, users may (sometimes) have a chance to win a prize or compensation if they leave a review.
