I’m going abroad for 6 months for my studies and am looking for a subtenant for the period from July 5, 2026, to January 4, 2027. You’ll be living with Nienke (31) and Lisette (23) in the Echtenstein apartment in Amsterdam Zuidoost!

We’re looking for a fun roommate who enjoys eating and cooking together, drinking “tinto de verano,” and watching Grey’s Anatomy—though when the Dutch national soccer team is playing, we’re of course all decked out in orange and ready with bitterballen and beer. We’re also always up for a game night or a spontaneous dance party in the kitchen—we have a few favorite songs that we always play. Of course, we’re open to your fun ideas too, so everyone feels at home! We like to keep our doors open so you can always come by and hang out with us. We’re studying medicine and accounting at the UvA and HvA; we’re in the middle of our clinical rotations and have part-time jobs on the side. We also love traveling, sports, and parties.

The room is 20m2 and will cost about 625 euros. The rent includes gas, water, electricity, and internet/TV, and the room is furnished. We also have a separate bathroom and toilet, as well as a kitchen with a dining table where we can all sit together.
There are also shops nearby (Arena and Amsterdamse Poort), and the Diemen-Zuid metro and train station is within walking distance (10 minutes). Next to the metro and train station, you’ll find the Diemen-Zuid campus, which has a supermarket, a pizzeria, and a café/restaurant. And just a 10-minute walk away, you can enjoy a lovely stroll through nature in the Bijlmerweide or the Diemerbos.
