The student complex is only a few minutes from the University of Groningen and the Hanzehogeschool Groningen. The city center is only a 15-minute bike ride away.

The complex is equipped with many common areas. There is a laundry room with washing machines and dryers, several study & meeting rooms, in-house gym, lounge area, a 'private dining room' and a bike shed. The lounge area has a table tennis and dart board. The 'private dining room' is a large kitchen that sits on the 22nd floor with a view of the city & Zernike campus. This room can be reserved free of charge.

Outside the building is a central collection point for household waste.

The studios are unfurnished and furnished with:

- Curtains, closet with mirror and a desk with chair

- Kitchen with a four-burner induction stove, combination microwave/oven and a refrigerator with freezer compartment

- Bathroom with shower, toilet and sink

- Double bed with mattress (dimensions are 200cm x 140cm)

This is an independent student room on the first floor
All housing units at Hoogeweg 1 are Short Stay studios and are only available for contracts with a maximum duration of six months. The Short Stay studios are not eligible for rent subsidy. It is possible and also mandatory to register at this address with the Municipality of Groningen.

Conditions and additional costs:

- We only rent to students and young professionals

- Rentals are for both Dutch and international students for a fixed period of six months. This can not be terminated prematurely

- Subletting is not allowed and is actively monitored

The rent includes the following costs:

- Furnishing and upholstery

One-time cost at the start of the lease:

- Registration fee | €25.00

- Security deposit | €750,00

- Administration fee | €125,00

- Final cleaning | €100,00
