Like the landlord, the tenant must observe a certain notice period. For tenants this is a payment term. Usually this is one month; in any case, it may never be less than one month and never more than three months. Notice of termination must always be given officially by (registered) letter. Personal handing over to the landlord (in exchange for a receipt) is also good.
