What needs to be included in a rental contract?

Each rental contract must state a minimum:

- Name of landlord and tenant,
- address and description of the rented and
- the rental price.

In the case of a temporary contract, the reason for the temporary nature must also be stated. In addition, it is useful to make agreements about payments (when to pay?), use of common facilities (kitchen, washing machine, telephone), maintenance (who does what?), subletting (is this allowed?) and the like. It is also advisable to make a record of the accommodation at the beginning of the rental period. This can prevent a lot of trouble.
